The sales women in the textiles work for long hours without any break, with low wages and without any adequate toilet facilities, restroom, and extra wages for extra work. The study focused on the work satisfaction of sales women in textile shops in Kerala and the data were collected from 200 respondents. The study revealed that most of the women workers were satisfied with the promotional benefits, monetary benefits, social benefits and career-related benefits and these have a positive influence of job satisfaction.
